• Create sequential visualizations of key scenes or sequences in a film, animation, or video project.

• Translate scripts or outlines into rough sketches or detailed drawings that convey the composition, action, and pacing of each shot.

• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to visualize the narrative flow and visual style of the project.

• Iterate on storyboards based on feedback and direction, making adjustments to composition, framing, and storytelling as needed.

• Provide guidance to production teams during filming or animation to ensure shots align with the storyboard vision.

 

Requirements:

• Proficiency in drawing and illustration, with a strong portfolio showcasing storytelling and visual narrative skills.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of quality and detail.

• Strong understanding of cinematic language, composition, and shot framing.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey ideas visually and verbally.

• Familiarity with storyboarding software and tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, or traditional pen-and-paper techniques.
